C. Feeding process of corrosion inhibitor
In order to prevent excessive pickling of strip steel in acid solution, a corrosion inhibitor feeding system was set up. The system is used to feed the corrosion inhibitor into the third circulation tank and rinsing tank. If the corrosion inhibitor is continuously fed, the strip can remain in the acid solution for more than 2 minutes without pickling. Because the two kinds of corrosion inhibitors placed in the pickling tank and the rinsing tank are different, one set of equipment is used to feed the inhibitor to the pickling tank and the other set is used to feed the inhibitor to the rinsing tank. Each device has a pump that pumps the inhibitor directly out of the storage tank. Tanks containing chemical elements (corrosion inhibitors) are placed in the sump tank.Use a hand mixer to mix the corrosion inhibitor before the pump is put into the inhibitor tank.The corrosion inhibitor added to the pickling area is used to prevent over-pickling when the strip stops in the pickling tank. The corrosion inhibitor added to the rinsing area is used to prevent acid spots when the strip stops in the rinsing tank.
D. Drying process
Install a dryer after rinsing for final treatment.
The dryer works in two steps.Step 1 side purging.This stage contains a long air knife mounted on both upper and lower v-shaped pipes of the strip.
The air knife is filled with high pressure air, which is used to clear the water at the edge of the strip.
Mount the upper surface of the strip 2Step 1 hot air drying, steam heating.This stage contains a long air knife mounted on both upper and lower v-shaped pipes of the strip. The air knife fills with hot air and absorbs moisture left over from the strip. 4 air knives are installed above the strip, and 2 air knives are installed below.
